Juan Miguel Pérez Roca, D.O.
Osteopath and acupuncturist · Founder of Centroterapia
Osteopath D.O. · Member of OCOE · Registration no. 535
I founded Centroterapia in 2003 with an idea that still guides my work: before treating, you have to listen, and every body tells a different story depending on the stage of life it is in.
My clinical practice focuses on cranial and neonatal osteopathy: I work with babies from their first weeks, with children as they develop and with mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. I also see adults, athletes and older people.
I combine clinical work with teaching. I am Head of Studies at the Grupo Thuban University School in Barcelona, affiliated with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, where I supervise the clinical training and final-year projects of future osteopaths. I also teach postgraduate courses in morphodynamic osteopathy and functional embryology.
Teaching forces me to keep questioning what I do and why I do it. That demand is what I try to bring to every session.
